Happy summer PinkWhen readers! I’m Brandy from BD Design and I’m so happy to be here with you today. Summer is all about relaxing, family, and FUN!! The 4th of July has always been one of my most favorite holidays to spend with my family. A tradition that I always look forward to is having our very own firework show in the street in front of our house. My kids LOVE all of the lights, sounds, and smoke right before them. This year I thought it would be cute to make them their very own July 4th firework bag stuffed with fun red, white, and blue surprises.
Hi everyone. It’s Dee from Meatloaf and Melodrama, and I’ve got a refreshing summer treat to share with all of you today. I’ve been making tons of fruit smoothies and ice pops over the past few weeks, and I’ve been so good about keeping things light and as healthy as possible. But the kids recently presented me with their summer food bucket list, filled with scrumptious treats they wanted to try, and I just couldn’t resist that kind of temptation. Besides, I think it’s fine to indulge a little now and then. So yesterday, I whipped up this rich and creamy homemade strawberry shake. Made with only three ingredients, it’s so easy to prepare, and it’s a delicious way to cool off on a hot summer day!
Are you a fan of green beans? Not from the can, but freshly picked green beans? I have so many fond memories of sitting on my grandma’s front porch and snapping freshly picked green beans. The season is here, so we have been snapping beans left and right at my house, and I thought I would share with you my Southern Style Green Bean recipe. This isn’t your plain jane green beans, this is AH-mazing!
Have you ever grilled a pizza before? The very first time I ever grilled a pizza was when we purchased our extra large Big Green Egg grill a couple of years ago. Since then, we have grilled out an average of 2 to 3 times a week, and even more in the Summer. One of my favorite pizza grilling items is this AH-mazing Turkey Tomato Cheese Pizza recipe. It has a TON of flavor, and is just downright delicious. Even if you don’t grill this recipe, it’s still amazing, so check it out!

Hey everyone! Amanda here from Old House to New Home sharing a recipe that I am SO excited about. Strawberry season is one of my favorite times of the year and I love creating new recipes with them. They taste so good straight from the fridge with a little sugar, served fresh over angel food cake, or even more deliciously, baked until saucy and warm and then topped with a soft and creamy biscuit!
Hello PinkWhen readers! I’m Bethany and I blog at Whistle and Ivy. We have been doing quite a bit of yard work around the house (we bought an older home back in November and the yard was left to grow wild). Something that the Boy has taken great pleasure in is all the sticks! I had a great pile raked up and ready to be hauled away when I decided that I could transform a few of them into some rustic decor. This simple found stick summer wreath was a snap to put together, and only required a few supplies.
It is strawberry season and I couldn’t be more excited! There is something about those delicious, red, little bites of heaven. They are a symbol that summer is almost here and that there are fresh fruits and vegetables will be plentiful soon. Today I thought I’d share some of my favorite strawberry recipes that I’ve found across the web!
Hi everyone! It’s Dee at Meatloaf and Melodrama, and I am thrilled to be sharing a very quick and easy summer dessert with all of you today! I love desserts, but in warm weather, I’m all about keeping things on the lighter side. And, I usually avoid using the oven at all costs. My kids love blueberries and strawberries, and since we have Memorial Day coming up, I thought it would be fun to give these berries a patriotic twist. So, I added a bit of vanilla ice cream and whipped up this easy Summer Berry Parfait.

I don’t know about you, but I am a bit fair skinned. I also spend a lot of time out in the sun playing tennis or taking the kids to different sports activities. Even on vacation going to the pool or the beach can lead to a lot of unintended sun if you are not careful. I have found this all natural after sun relief really helps me soothe the skin. It’s also super easy to make. After you finish reading, check out these other items you can make with essential oils.
