With Mother’s Day just passing by I thought I would take a moment to reflect. It was such a beautiful day and one I will always remember. While I was able to celebrate with my children, I wasn’t able to celebrate with my mom. It had me thinking that we shouldn’t just celebrate moms on one day, we should celebrate every day.
In all of my 43 young years, this is probably the first one I have spent without having the ability to see my mom. She had been sick over the last week and we were not able to get the family together like we normally would. I was a little upset over it at first, and then I remembered that it doesn’t have to be celebrated “that” day.
Celebrate Every Day with Mom
It also got me to thinking, moms should be celebrated every day. I have a few friends who are first time moms and I know the stress that comes along with that. You feel like you have to do everything right because you now have this little life who is totally reliant upon your care.
I understand that stress first hand. With my first I was so worried about doing everything right, but by the time the 4th came around, we were feeling like pros. I also remember wondering what I should use, and what I didn’t need. It wasn’t hard to figure out that I needed diapers and wipes on hand 24/7.
Giving the gift that every mom needs on hand
I decided I need to make life a little less stressful for my new mom friends by sharing this great find at Sams Club. Right now, mom (or dad) can get $5 off each package of Pampers diapers, and up to $5 off each package of Pampers wipes – all at Sam’s Club and on samsclub.com (with free shipping!)
And all you have to do is shop. No clipping or downloading coupons or filling out rebates for this amazing deal. You can buy just one box for savings, or you can buy up to three and put up to $15 back in your pocket. That’s a great savings!
Celebrate Mom Every Day
Now that my mom is finally feeling better I have a great day planned for us. A delicious homemade lunch and a treat at our local bakery. I know I didn’t get to spend Mother’s Day with her, but I can look past that and know that every day I have with her is a gift.
