Make your own Sugar Scrub
Why are sugar scrubs so popular, and why does everyone from spas and salons sell them? That’s easy, because they are WONDERFUL for your skin, and your skin is the largest “organ” you have. Naturally you want to take good care of it, and why not pamper yourself why you are at it? Scrubs help remove dead skin cells and leave your skin looking and feeling much healthier. You can always go and buy a nice scrub at a salon, but why not make something you can use over and over and love the results just as much? Not to mention, you know exactly what is in your scrub, and don’t have to worry about other possible harmful additives.
The first thing you want to do is gather your ingredients (affiliate links):
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- 4 tsp coconut oil (warmed 30 seconds to transfer to liquid form)
- Lemon essential oil (10 drops)
- 1 tsp yellow coloring (used to make soaps, etc.)
- 1 tsp Vitamin E oil
- a container of your choosing to hold your new scrubs
Mix your ingredients together well, and then store them into your chosen container.
