Hey everyone! Amanda here from Old House to New Home sharing a quick and easy fall decor idea. These Easy DIY Studded Pumpkins are perfect last minute Halloween decor or would look beautiful on a Thanksgiving table. I can’t wait to place them on my tablescape flanking some beautiful candles. These are so easy and you only need two supplies, the pumpkins and the studs!

I love fall decor and love the bright reds, oranges, and yellows that the season brings, but with all that color, it can make your decor look a tad bit busy. I love small neutral accents to help keep everything balanced. And the mix of the gold and silver studs is so classic and makes these look like the expensive pumpkins you can pick up at the high end decor stores.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Plastic pumpkins of your choice-I think the white ones look great and are a great neutral base from other fall decor

Self-adhesive studs in silver and gold

(this package was full, I just got excited and started sticking them on before taking the picture!)

Start by wiping down your pumpkin with a damp cloth. You want to remove any dust that may have built up while they sat at the store.

Start at the top of your pumpkin and add alternating silver and gold studs around the top of the pumpkin. Space your studs about 2 fingers apart. Make sure you will end with an even number so that you don’t end up with the same color stud beside each other.

Try to use the shape and lines of the pumpkin to guide you, but don’t worry too much about the lines being even since it is hard to do on a round object!

And that is it! Let the studs adhere before moving around. I placed mine on top of a radiator and the heat made a few studs fall off, so be careful if you are putting it in an location that is very warm. If any fall off, some hot glue helps them stick!

I hope you try this easy diy this fall! Have a great Halloween!
