Happy summer PinkWhen readers! I’m Brandy from BD Design and I’m so happy to be here with you today. Summer is all about relaxing, family, and FUN!! The 4th of July has always been one of my most favorite holidays to spend with my family. A tradition that I always look forward to is having our very own firework show in the street in front of our house. My kids LOVE all of the lights, sounds, and smoke right before them. This year I thought it would be cute to make them their very own July 4th firework bag stuffed with fun red, white, and blue surprises.
July 4th Firework bag
Let’s get started!
Here’s what you will need:
– small cloth bags
– star stencil
– red, white, and blue fabric paint
– stencil brush
– 4th of July inspired goodies to fill the bag
Step 1: Decide on what shapes you want to use for the front of the bag. I wanted to the design to be super simple. Using your cutting machine, cut out your stencils.
Step 2: Apply a small amount of fabric paint on your stencil brush. I like to blot the brush on a paper towel before I apply it to the cloth bag so the paint doesn’t seep through the stencil.
Step 3: Fill the bag with all the fun surprises for your little ones.
These little bags worked up really fast and my kids can hardly stand it that they have to wait a few more weeks to play with their special little pouch. Have a great summer with the ones you love and remember to be safe friends!
I’d love for you to check out a few of my reader’s favorite posts right now over at BD Design!
