A couple of weeks ago I had to travel from home and go to Atlanta for a blogging conference. It was such a fun conference, and I really enjoyed the networking and ideas that were shared. If you are a blogger and have been thinking about attending a blog conference, I would totally recommend looking into Type A. They are a great first conference for ANY blogger. What made the trip even better was the NETGEAR WiFi that I was given to work with. As a blogger, we are always online. When you travel, Wifi can be spotty, at best. Having your own Wifi can make life easier, I loved having mine.
One of the biggest difficulties when traveling and working is trying to find affordable and reliable WiFi service. If there are too many people on the service, your service will be spotty at best.
Making Travel Count
If you are like me and you are working online, you need to have reliable access to the internet. That’s why I loved having access this month to the AT&T served NETGEAR WiFi device. Not only was it easy to use, but you can connect up to ten devices on it at once. You can also know with certainty that you are going to have service that you can rely on.
No one “wants” to work when they are traveling, but when traveling and blogging are your business, you have to use reliable WiFi to keep the business up and running. Not to mention, if you are on vacation and sharing videos of a beautiful beach, or scenic mountain views, you don’t want to use the data plan on your phone. Your data usage would be HUGE and if you don’t have an unlimited plan, your bill will be HUGE, too.
If you have a WiFi device, you can upload and easily stream those awesome vacation videos. I loved having my NETGEAR WiFi device on me during my travels.
