Today we are going to do a super fast, super simple scarf tutorial. There is a little sewing involved, but nothing a novice (like me) can’t handle!
First we are going to start with some white jersey knit material I had left over from a previous project, and some leftover button fringe. I loved the colors on these buttons, and they are perfect for Spring!
I lined my material and my fringe up, and didn’t bother finishing the sides. (Jersey knit is so light weight and the ends roll in, so finishing them was of no concern to me.)
Go ahead and sew your fringe in place. (I didn’t even bother to pin fringe down because I can pull and keep everything lined up easily enough.)
Pair up your new scarf with some jeans and a light sweater, perfect for Spring! Add some color, with all of those Spring buttons this simple lightweight scarf can go with almost anything.
