Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Easy and delicious chocolate chip oatmeal cookies - and so easy!

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup old fashioned oats
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 sticks unsalted butter softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 2/3 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Heat the oven to 375 and prepare a cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, hand mix together rolled oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, butter, egg, and chocolate chips with a spoon.
  • Scoop 2 tablespoons of cookie dough for each cookie and place onto the prepared cooking sheet. Mash the cookie dough until slightly flattened and round using your fingers.
  • Bake in the oven for 12-14 minutes or until the tops and edges start to turn a light brown. Serve warm and enjoy!
