Equipment

  • Heart-Shaped Cake Pop Tray

Ingredients

  • 1 cake mix
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • candy melts
  • candy coverings

Instructions

  • Use a classic vanilla or your favorite flavored cake mix and mix per the instructions on the box.
  • Pour cake mixture into the cake pop mold. Cover with top.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and allow tray to safely cool. Remove Heart cakes and take melting chocolate to insert popsicle sticks.
  • Cover cake pops with chocolate and your favorite candy coatings.

Notes

  1. One cake mix should yield about 60 cake pops.
  2. I like to use Wilton candy melts to coat these cake pops and different candies to coat them.
  3. Perfect for a Valentine classroom treat.
