These Lunch Lady Brownies are such a simple brownie recipe to whip up!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs

For the Frosting:

  • 1/4 cup butter unsalted
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cocoa powder
  • 3 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 
  • Prepare a 9 x 13 baking dish. 
  • In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer, cream the butter, cinnamon, and sugar together. Add in the cocoa powder and mix well. 
  • Add flour, salt, and eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Mix well, but don't over mix. 
  • Spread the brownie mixture into the 9 x 13 dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. 
  • For the frosting, blend all of the ingredients together until combined and smooth.
  • Pour quickly over the warm brownies and spread evenly. 
  • Allow to cool slightly before cutting and serving. 

Notes

  1. Store leftover brownies in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
