Place a cooling rack on top of a rimmed baking sheet covered with aluminum foil.
Add the ground beef into a medium-sized mixing bowl. Add the Black pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce to the meat. Mix until combined well.
Shape the ground beef mixture into quarter-pound patties and place them onto the baking sheet.
Place the cookie sheet onto the baking rack in the middle of oven.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until the internal temperature has reached 155 degrees Fahrenheit with a meat thermometer. Remove from oven and cover them with aluminum foil for 5 minutes to continue cooking.

You can substitute the lean ground meat with lean ground turkey and cook these burgers at the same time and temperature.Want more spice? When making the hamburger patties, add 1 tsp of cayenne pepper, 1 tsp of white pepper, and 3 Tbsp of Tabasco sauce. That will spice things up a bit! Season with salt if desired.Add a cheese slice to the burger during the last minute of cooking to get that perfect melt. Add cheeses such as cheddar cheese, American cheese, blue cheese, and mozzarella cheese. You have to have burgers with cheese!
