Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 20 large shrimp fresh

Instructions

  • Start by soaking the wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes. Prepare the basket with olive oil if needed.
  • Rinse the shrimp and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • In a large bowl, combine shrimp with salt and pepper.
  • Add the shrimp to the wooden skewer by piercing through the body and the tail.
  • Place the shrimp kabobs in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry the shrimp at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-9 minutes cooking time, or until cooked through.
  • Carefully remove the shrimp skewers from the air fryer, top with lime juice and lime zest if desired and serve.

Notes

If you want to add flavor to these shrimp, marinate them in your favorite seasonings and sauce. Marinated shrimp are tasty and only take a few extra ingredients.
I used large shrimp for this recipe, but if you’re using jumbo shrimp you may need to add additional cooking time.
