Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 3/4 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Whisk until thoroughly mixed.
  • Store remaining taco seasoning in an airtight container.

Notes

  1. Adjust the ingredients to your tastes. Add more spice for a little extra heat, or decrease cumin, pepper, and chili powder for a milder seasoning. 
  2. Make this recipe in a larger batch and store the remainder in an airtight container for up to a year.
  3. Use this seasoning recipe for soups, nachos, tacos, fajitas, and more.
