Yum Yum sauce is a delicious and easy pink sauce typically found in a Japanese Steakhouse. Made with just a handful of ingredients, this dipping sauce comes together in just minutes! Serve with your favorite fried rice and stir-fried meals!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • t tbsp Mirin (see notes)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • pinch of Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients into a medium sized mixing bowl. Using a wire whisk, blend mayonnaise, ketchup, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, Mirin, Rice vinegar, and water. Store in te refrigerator for a day or two to let seasonings blend. You can also serve this Yum Yum saice recipe immediately.

Notes

  1. If you're unable to find Mirin, you can make your own. Take ¼ cup granulated sugar, 3 tbsp water, and ¾ cup sake. Boil water and sugar together, remove from heat, and then add in the Sake. You can store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
