Dr Pepper Brownies

These Dr Pepper Brownies are made from scratch and use just a handful of ingredients. You won't believe how chocolatey and delicious they are!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (salted)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi sweet)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup Dr. Pepper
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all purpose flour

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 
  • Melt butter and chocolate chips together in a microwave safe bowl. Stir well. 
  • Combine sugars and eggs and Dr. Pepper. Mix well.
  • In a medium bowl, add cocoa powder and flour. Mix in the sugar mixture and melted chocolate.
  • Pour mixture into a prepared 9 x 13 baking dish or a cast iron skillet.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick is inserted and comes out clean from the middle.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool before slicing.

Notes

  1. Add a cream cheese or homemade vanilla frosting to these brownies for even more flavor.
