Ingredients

  • 24 mini pretzels
  • 24 Rolo candy unwrapped
  • 24 pecan halves

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to a temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Use a medium sized cookie sheet and line the sheet with parchment paper.
  • Add the pretzels onto the baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Top the pretzels with the unwrapped Rolo candies.
  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven with a cook time of 3-5 minutes. This allows the chocolate and caramel to soften, but not melt.
  • Carefully remove the sheet from the oven and then carefully place the pecan halves on top of the caramel candy. Push down until the soft caramel and melted chocolate are spread onto the pretzels.
  • Transfer the sheet to refrigerator and allow to cool and harden.
  • Once they are ready, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve them.
  • To serve, remove the turtles from the refrigerator and allow them to sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes to soften before serving.

Notes

  1. Store Rolo Pretzel Turtles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  2. Store these Pretzel bites in the freezer in an airtight container for up to a month.
  3. Consider using white chocolate candy, peanut butter, peppermint, and more to change this recipe.
