Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 4 medium Russet Potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly prick the skin of the potatoes with a fork and then rub the potatoes with olive oil. Cover the potatoes completely with the oil and then sprinkle kosher a light layer of kosher salt onto the potatoes.
  • Place potatoes into the Air Fryer basket, leaving room in between each potato.
  • Cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 40-45 minutes, flipping the potatoes halfway through the cook time.
  • Carefully remove the air fryer potatoes and serve with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  1. I recommend using the classic russet potato. There are other types of potatoes you can use, but you may need to adjust the cooking time and temperature.
  2. The cooking time can fluctuate with the size of the potato. For best results, I generally use a medium or large russet potato and cook several at a time for 40-45 minutes to yield the perfect baked potatoes.
  3. For a good potato, I love all of the classic side dish toppings such as sour cream, green onions, and cheddar cheese. If making these baked potatoes as a main dish, consider adding toppings such as shredded barbecue chicken, shredded beef, sloppy joe mixture, and more.
