Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ribs country style
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare the basket with nonstick cooking spray or parchment paper after the preheat cycle is finished.
  • Combine the brown sugar, smojed paprika, garlic powder, and ground black pepper in a small bowl and set it aside.
  • Rinse the ribs and then pat them dry. Rub a small amount of seasoning onto the tops and sides of the ribs. Continue to season the remaining ribs.
  • Place the country pork ribs into a single layer in the prepared air fryer basket. Cook at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes. Check the ribs, and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Add the bbq sauce to the ribs and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Check that the internal temperature has reached 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Carefully remove the ribs from the air fryer with a pair of tongs. Serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

Country-style ribs are from the shoulder of the pig, while baby back ribs are small ribs that come from the loin, and spare ribs come from the belly area.
The internal temperature of pork should be at least 145 degrees Fahrenheit before serving. This is for both bone in and boneless ribs. You can use an instant read thermometer to easily and quickly check the temperature.
