Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs steak
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp avocado oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Cut up the steak into bite sized pieces.
  • Toss the steak bites in avocado oil or olive oil. Season the steak bites with garlic powder and ground black pepper.
  • Place the seasoned steak bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for ten minutes, flipping and tossing the steak bites halfway through.
  • Remove the steak bites from the air fryer basket, drizzle with melted butter and serve as desired.

Notes

Cook the steak pieces at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes for a medium-medium well cook. If you’re looking for medium-rare, cook for 7-8 minutes. For well done, cook for 10-12 minutes.
Since all air fryers cook differently, make sure to cook a small test batch the first time you cook these for more accurate timing in your specific air fryer.
Store leftover steak bites in the refrigerator for up to 3 days in an airtight container. To reheat, place the steak bites in a preheated air fryer and cook on 350 degrees F for 2-3 minutes, or until steak bites are heated through.
Use what cuts of steak you have and then check out different cuts and see what you like best! I love using New York strip, Ribeye steak, and flank steak.
