Air Fryer Taco Stuffed Shells are the perfect addition to your Taco Tuesday rotation. Made with jumbo shells, taco meat, and a stick of cheese! It’s a quick and easy recipe that is perfect for a party, or just because. They are crispy on the outside with cheesy goodness on the inside.
Boil a large pot of water. Add the jumbo shells to the boiling water and cook for 9 minutes, Remove from heat and drain the shells. Set aside.
Brown the ground beef. Add the taco seasoning to the cooked ground beef and mix well. Remove from heat and set aside.
Fill a shell with a Tablespoon of the ground beef mixture.
Add 1 half stick of cheese on top of the ground beef
Add another shell to the top of the cheese and ground beef. Repeat for all shells.
Place the stuffed shells in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray the shells with olive oil.
Air fry the taco stuffed shells at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 6-8 minutes, or until the shells have a light crisp.
Carefully remove the stuffed shells from the air fryer and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
You can substitute different cheeses or blends for this recipe. I will use Colby jack cheese, Mexican blend cheese, and white queso cheese.These stuffed shells are better to eat immediately after air frying, but you can store leftovers in an airtight dish for up to 3 days. Reheat the taco stuffed shells in the air fryer at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 2-3 minutes, or until the stuffed shell is heated through.
