PinkWhen

Easy Recipes for Everyone

About Me

Home » About Me

First I would like to take the time to welcome you here to PinkWhen.

PinkWhen was started in 2012 by Jennifer West. You can find crafts and recipes throughout this site.

Over the last several years, this PinkWhen has really focused more on recipes. I mean, I love food, so why not talk about it, right?

While PinkWhen has been a labor of love over the last decade, I decided it was time to freshen things up.

You will now find even more recipes, shared on a weekly basis, and a new FACE as well.

Becky Abbott, my partner in all things air fryer from Air Frying Foodie has also joined me here at PinkWhen.

You can find out more about the journey Becky and I have been on by clicking here.

You will find our recipes have either been passed down or created, and they are all tested by myself, Becky, our families, and our friends.

Keep in mind that this site is always a work in progress.

How did PinkWhen come about?

Several years ago I was in the fast world of corporate America with a high-stress position in medical device sales. While I was very successful with this for over 10 years, my heart was at home with just having the last of my children. I soon decided to create a space where I could share what I love to make and create.

Eventually, this site evolved into me sharing all of my favorite recipes and occasional crafts and printables with everyone.

What does PinkWhen mean?

One day while at a zoo, my then 3-year-old stepson said he wanted to go and see the Penguins. However, it didn’t come out as Penguin, it came out as “PinkWhen”. Here we are a couple of years later with our very own PinkWhen.

When choosing a blog name I would suggest choosing something that describes your blog. I went the non-traditional route because I could not get the name out of my head, and who doesn’t just love “PinkWhens”.

Where are we located?

PinkWhen is located in Shreveport, Louisiana, a small city that is in the very northwest corner of Louisiana. The largest cities we are located to are Dallas, TX, and Baton Rouge, LA.

Becky is located in Mesa, Arizona.

Comments

If you have questions or concerns about anything you see on this site, leave us a comment. While I may not be able to get to every single one,  I do try my best to answer them all. Please remember this is a family-friendly site, any spam or negative comments will not be approved.

Photography

All pictures in posts and recipes, unless specifically stated otherwise, are the property of this site and Jennifer West or Becky Abbott. All photos will be watermarked with the PinkWhen name and or logo. If you use a picture or recipe in a roundup, you must include a link back to the original post, picture, or recipe you borrowed it from.

I (Jen) love photography and have taught myself over the years. My older posts may still look a little crazy, but my newer posts definitely show my true passion for food and photography.

I often get asked about my photography equipment. I shoot with both a Canon MarkIV and a Canon 7D Mark II. For lenses, I love using my 50mm and 100mm macro lenses almost exclusively.

*Do NOT copy and paste an entire recipe or post from this site, that is stealing, and you will be asked to remove it.
