  • Butter knife or small offset spatula
  • Sharp chef’s knife
  • Paper towels

Ingredients
  

  • 12 slices thin salami Genoa or hard salami
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 12 baby dill pickles or 3 large pickle spears, quartered

Instructions
 

  • Pat the pickles dry with a paper towel to remove all excess liquid.
  • rrange 3 to 4 slices of salami in a slightly overlapping row on a cutting board or work surface.
  • Spread the cream cheese evenly across the entire overlapping strip of salami, making sure it reaches the edges.
  • Add a baby pickle (or piece of a pickle spear) to one end of the salami strip.
  • Roll the layered salami up tightly around the pickle, pressing down lightly to seal the edge.
  • Refrigerate the rolls for 15 to 20 minutes to help firm up the cream cheese.
  • Slice the rolls into 4 to 5 pieces with a sharp knife, then serve immediately.
