Equipment

  • 9×13 inch baking dish
  • Medium mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken approx. 10 to 12 oz
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz can
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese freshly shredded, divided
  • 2 can refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 oz each can

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a medium bowl, stir together the cooked, shredded chicken, the condensed cream of chicken soup, and 1/2 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese until well mixed.
  • Unroll the cans of crescent rolls and separate each roll into triangles.
  • Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons of the chicken mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll each crescent roll up, beginning at the wide end and rolling toward the point. Tuck in the sides to keep the filling inside.

  • Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the rolls.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
  • Allow to rest 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
