Oh.My.Gosh. Peppermint + Chocolate = YUMMY. Today I am sharing one of the dreamiest desserts ever, a delicious Peppermint and Chocolate Cookie Recipe.
For this easy recipe, I grabbed some delicious chocolatey-chocolate chip cookies, chocolate frosting, and some peppermint.
Chocolate Cookie Recipe
The first thing you want to do is bake some of these delicious chocolate chip cookies. They are by far some of the most DELICIOUS things on the planet. Seriously. I could eat these for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I would give you the recipe, but what I used instead of baking from scratch was the ultimate Nestle Tollhouse Dark Chocolate Delight cookies.
Yes, I cheated. I did not make these, unless you count breaking them off and placing them on a cookie sheet and baking them for 14 minutes “making them”.
Obviously, these babies are delicious all on their own, but I wanted to add a little “Christmas” to these cookies. (Did you notice how much I obviously use my cookie sheets? Yep. A lot.)
I grabbed some Pillsbury Creamy Chocolate Fudge and spread it over a cookie. After I finished with the fudge icing, I rolled these up with some crushed peppermint to adhere to the middle where the frosting was.
After I finished with adding the peppermint, I added a little powdered sugar to the tops and they were all set and ready to serve.
There are so many fun desserts to make for the holidays. I always enjoy baking something sweet and simple that I know all of the family and friends will enjoy. I think these are going to be a BIG HIT this year.
What are some of your favorite Chocolate Cookie recipes? Do you have a standard “go to” Christmas cookie recipe that you like to make every year?
