I have been playing with my Silhouette machine a little more than normal lately. If you are a regular, you already know I love working with this machine! I had several plain shirts just laying around, and they were just PERFECT for my next project, the Be Mine Girls Valentine Shirt. I love the way it turned out!

RELATED: VALENTINE HEART MAGNETS

To make this cute little tee, I used these items:

  • Silhouette Cameo
  • Red Flocked Heat Transfer
  • White Flocked Heat Transfer
  • Weeding tool

Be Mine Supplies

Step 1:  Create your project in the Silhouette Software Program. (I use the designer edition)

Step 2:  Cut your project out in the different colors as you would like. I chose a couple of red hearts and a couple of white hearts, with ‘Be Mine’ in White. To do this I just moved off of the board what I did not want to cut (for each color). So technically you cut two times, once for the white, and once for the red.

Step 3:  After cutting, weed away your excess heat transfer.

Step 4:  Place your Project on the shirt, cover with a cloth, and lightly iron for a few minutes until it adheres. (Do not steam)

It’s as simple as that! No mess, no fuss, and a super cute and quick project for Valentine’s Day. I always love using my Silhouette Cameo for one of a kind projects.

Stay tuned for more, because later this week I will be sharing another cute project I made AND another great promotion from Silhouette!

I LOVE it. I wish I could wear hearts year-round. Wait, I kinda do. I was thinking of getting Scarlet a Valentine pack of Hello Kitty Pez for Valentine’s Day. She loves that.
I’d love to make Des a “heartbreaker” shirt.

I wish they had stuff like that when I was a kid. We just had iron-ons that came off in two washes (good thing little boys don’t always put their shirts in the laundry).

Do they make those with Star Wars shapes?

You can find Star Wars shapes on the internet and import them into your designer software and make just about anything! I did a post not long ago with the Scotch Brand tape and made a LSU cornhole game. Lsu has the eye of the tiger on their field, so I imported that eye and created a stencil and painted it onto the game boards. These machines can do a lot!
