I am always looking for different ideas for Healthy Sandwiches, and today I am going to share one of my all time favorite lunches. The Turkey Melt.
I have to admit, I can sometimes eat unhealthy, but eating healthy should be a top priority for us all. I spoke with a physician friend of mine not too long ago and he equated our bodies to a car. Yep, a CAR. Why a car?
Think about it. We treat our cars better than we do our bodies. If you want to keep your car running well, you put in a premium gasoline. You don’t just put anything in it. Our bodies are the same, we should always put in the premium products…not a bunch of crap….and that is easy to do. While you also change out your air filter and oil filter, your body only has one filter: your liver. You can’t just change that out….so you need to make that filter work well for you by making it easy, and making what you intake HEALTHY.
I promise I am not perfect, did you see my Key Lime Pie Recipe from yesterday? Ha! These things are ok in moderation. To offset that sweet pie, I am sharing with you my favorite Turkey Melt recipe.
