No Sew Burlap Table Runner

No Sew Burlap Table Runner

Lately I have been working on some BIG projects. Today I opted for a refreshing and easy project, a no sew burlap table runner. This project took me less than an hour, and really made a difference with the table I am using.

I have a TON of burlap, and I have been making all kinds of things with it lately. From printed burlap in a frame, Easter burlap pails, to my lovely burlap wreath, I just can’t get enough of it. It’s so versatile and easy to use. It can be a tad messy, so make sure you aren’t wearing a black shirt when you are making things with it. It will be covered before you finish!
(Just speaking from experience, of course!)

First you want to measure your table and cut your burlap. I wanted mine to hang off of an 8 foot table, so I added a foot and a half to each end.

Cut and iron, and you are done. Pull at your little frays until you get the desired frayed look you are looking for. I like this much better than breaking out my sewing machine. 🙂

You can also opt to dress things up a bit like I did. Flag your ends and add a monogram!
I just opened the Silhouette Cameo and cut some vinyl, taped, and painted. Super quick, and dresses it
up really nice.

You can find burlap at most of your craft stores, but I would call ahead just in case. You can also find it online, check out all of the burlap over at BurlapFarbic.com! Also, you can get burlap in many different colors. I like it a lot, so I purchased 10 yards of it from Amazon. I’m a member of Prime so it ships free and you get it in 2 days. Think of all of the fun projects you can do!!! You can find the link to what I purchased here.

Have you started following me on Pinterest yet? I would love it if you would!!! As always, if you like what you see here, please feel free to PIN it.
