When I think of Spring, I think of flowers and fruit and shorts and soft skin. Among my favorite things to keep my skin soft is a scrumptious sugar scrub recipe.

I always love the way my bath feels and my skin feels after I’ve used my sugar scrubs. There are so many amazing things you can create with essential oils, and today I am going to share with you this yummy Orange Coconut Sugar Scrub recipe.

You’re going to love how this smells! I even created some free printable labels for you to use.

Orange Coconut Sugar Scrub for skin that smells and feels amazing!

I truly love making things with my essential oils, but one of my all time favorite things to make is a sugar scrub! They make your skin so soft, and it’s always a good thing to exfoliate your skin. Especially before you head outdoors in a bathing suit!

Benefits of a good sugar scrub recipe

Can your skin benefit from a good sugar scrub recipe? Why yes it can! Exfoliating your skin and removing the dead cells is a great way to feel better and have amazing, bright, shiny skin. It also allows for products to go on smoother and will allow them to absorb better. If you have dry skin, consider using a sugar scrub recipe to exfoliate and then apply a moisturizing body butter recipe to soften things up even more.

How often should sugar scrubs be used?

Sugar scrubs can be used on a daily basis. You body sheds “bazillions” of dead skin cells every day, and exfoliating these will only make you and your skin feel better. Make sure that if you are using a sugar scrub on your face that you are doing this maximum two times per week.

Favorite places to use sugar scrubs

I like to keep a sugar scrub near my sink for use after washing my hands. I love having one of these in the guest bathroom as well, as it makes my guests feel comfortable and relaxed. It’s always nice to have a little unexpected spa treatment on your hands, and for your hands.

Another great place for sugar scrubs is in the bathtub. I love the feeling of clean, exfoliated skin after I have used my scrub. There are so many different options of scrubs you can make, it’s really all up to you and your scent preferences.

I personally love the recipe that I am going to share with you today. I truly think of it as the BEST homemade sugar scrub recipe you can find, and it’s so simple! Now this recipe can easily be changed. I have created this sugar scrub recipe in bulk for church functions and for giveaway items.
