The Best Chili Recipe you will ever taste!
This is really one of the best chili recipes there is! Consider doubling or tripling this recipe to freeze any leftovers. #chilirecipe

One of my FAVORITE things to do when it’s cold is eat something warm and hearty, and today I am going to share with you the best chili recipe I have ever tasted!

Chili is good on those cold days, on those lazy days, and during football season on those game day dogs. It’s our “go to” recipe when we are looking to just enjoy a good, hearty meal, and chill out. Anytime it’s cold, you can try one of my other soups and chili recipes.

The Best Chili Recipe

The Best Chili Recipe on the internet! A MUST HAVE in your recipe book.

Best Chili Recipe

This is such a delicious recipe with onion, peppers, oregano, beans, and tomato flavoring. It will warm you up from the inside out and leave you satisfied and full. If you ask any two people for a chili recipe, you will likely get two different answers. The combination of these ingredients is my favorite! The recipe pairs well with this Easy Cornbread Skillet Recipe.

What Ingredients do I need for Chili?

What you will need for the best chili recipe:

  • chopped onions
  • bell pepper
  • cayenne pepper
  • white sugar
  • oregano
  • black pepper
  • cumin
  • chili powder
  •  tomato paste
  • water
  • pinto beans
  • kidney beans
  • tomato juice
  • lean ground beef

How do I make the Best Chili Recipe?

Step 1:  Brown the lean ground beef in a deep skillet. Cook over medium heat until cooked all the way through, and then drain.

Step 2: In a large pan over high heat add in all of your additional ingredients: cooked ground beef, tomato juice, kidney beans, pinto beans, water, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, black pepper, oregano, sugar, cayenne pepper, bell pepper, and chopped onions. Bring to a boil.

Step 3:  Once your large pot of chili has started to boil, lower the heat and simmer for 2 hours uncovered.
