Easy Weeknight Pot Roast Recipe (Crock Pot)

Easy Weeknight Pot Roast Recipe (Crock Pot)

As spouses and parents we are always looking to make a delicious recipe that pleases everyone, but also the one that takes the least amount of time and effort…specifically on a busy weekday. I have the ticket for you…this is going to be THE BEST Pot Roast you have EVER had in your LIFE! (That’s a BIG statement, and a TRUE one, I promise!)

This recipe is one of the best recipes I have ever made, and I will continue to do so for a long time. Everyone loves it, and you and your family will, too. Not to mention, the gravy that is made from the juices and seasoning is so delicious I promise you will sop it up with a piece of bread! Your plate will look like it hasn’t been used by the time you finish eating this delicious meal, it’s THAT good! Ready for the ingredients and simplicity?

Ingredients:

  • one 5-8lb Pot Roast
  • one 16oz. bottle of Dale’s steak seasoning (Its a liquid marinade)
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/4 cup water

Directions:

  • Heat your crock pot up to medium or high. If you want this is 4-5 hours, heat it up to high, or let it cook for 8-9 hours all day on the low setting.
  • Open your two cans of cream of mushroom soup and place them into the crock pot.
  • Add your 1 1/4 cup of water
  • place your pot roast into the crock pot
  • pour 1/2 cup of Dales seasoning over the pot roast and cover.
  • when halfway thru your cooking time, turn your pot roast over and pour an additional half a cup of Dales seasoning over it.
  • Pull and serve when done.

Try it out, and I can’t wait for you to come back and tell me how spot on I was about this recipe! It’s going to be a new favorite of yours, too. You can also easily add some sliced carrots and potatoes to the gravy if you want. Enjoy!
