Not too long ago I was surfing the internet through StumbleUpon and I found this awesome post about TOMS inspired baby and toddler shoes.

DIY TOMS Inspired Toddler Shoes, Super Cute!!

I was SO excited, as I have been wanting to try and tackle different projects.

As you can see, these are cute, personalized shoes, just like the baby TOMS.

Super Cute TOMS Inspired Toddler Shoes

I am so glad I stumbled this post. I had some awesome Waverly fabric left over from the JoAnn Fabric and Craft post a couple of weeks ago, and really wanted to use it.

I must tell you, if I can do this, you can too! My sewing machine is my nemesis, but this really wasn’t that hard.

Head on over and grab the free generic pattern, or opt to pay for the sized shoes pattern, you will be happy you did!

I purchased the pattern, but she won’t be able to wear these until Spring! I really love the personalization. I made the tags with my Silhouette and some heat transfer material. Remember, today is the last day you can save 25% on all Silhouette consumables using promo code PINK.

While I have been working hard on some new projects to share with you soon, I thought I would leave you with some fun sewing inspiration for the rest of the week.

Adorable little shoes and the tags are the perfect finishing touch. I’ve been having lots of fun on SU too!

Thanks Kimber, I am still trying to figure SU out…and I am sure it’s NOT difficult, lol. I LOVED these shoes when I found them, so I had to make them. 🙂

Jen, These baby-Tom-like shoes are so adorable. While I don’t have small children (as a matter of fact my boys are now in size 13 and 11 shoes!!) I’m tempted to put my dog in a pair because they are so cute – – and my dog loves when I play ‘baby’ with him. Sorta.

    You are so creative!

Thanks Geralin! If they made this pattern that large I would totally try and make me some, LOL.
