One of my favorite ways to make unique shower bombs is by using fun molds. You can purchase silicone molds (which I think work best in my opinion) and create shower bombs and bath bombs in all different shapes and sizes.
Shower Bombs
Before I get to the list of my favorite shower bombs and bath bombs, there is something you should definitely consider when making them. There are different recipes and the consistency can be a little different from person to person. In my experience, it has to do with the elevation you are located at.
If at all possible, try and deduce where your blogger is located who is sharing the shower or bath bomb recipe. Then you can decide if you need to add or take anything away. Unfortunately, sometimes it is just a little trial and error. However, don’t give up! When I started to make mine for the first time I had to add a few ingredients (a little more than the recipe called for) to get the harder consistency that I liked. It all worked our well in the end.

You’re so welcome!!
So I made these this evening. This is my third attempt using different recipes and I got soooo excited when I removed them from the molds and they didn’t start expanding like the blob was coming after me, lol.
So my question is: how long do I need to let them dry out before I wrap them in bags or store them in containers?
Thank you so much for this recipe. I was beginning to think I may have to buy my gifts this year but maybe not. 🙂
YAY! I am so glad your shower bombs turned out well! I personally live in a humid climate (southern US) so I let mine dry for a good 24 hours before adding them to bags or to gift jars, etc. If you have the time to let them dry a little longer, that’s even better.
