How to Make a Tomato Salad Recipe

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine tomatoes, olives, lemon juice, pepper, garlic, and onions in an airtight container. Place in the refrigerator and allow to marinate overnight, or for at least 8 hours if possible.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 10oz olives Spanish Queen Olives
  • 1 pint grape tomatoes sliced in half
  • 1/4 cup olive oil extra virgin
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small purple onion sliced thin
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese shredded

Instructions
 

  • Combine tomatoes, olives, lemon juice, pepper, garlic, and onions in a medium sized airtight container. 
  • Allow marinating in the refrigerator overnight if this is an option. 
  • Top with shredded parmesan cheese before serving. 

Notes

Allow the salad to marinate overnight or for at least 8 hours if possible. 
Top with shredded parmesan cheese just before serving. 
Best served chilled.

    I am assuming that the olive oil goes in with the rest of the ingredients to marinate, right? It is listed in the list of ingredients but not mentioned in directions as how to make this yummy looking salad.
