This smooth and creamy No-Bake Oreo Pie is made with a classic favorite cookie. It's easy to make and you just need a few ingredients.

This smooth and creamy No-Bake Oreo Pie is made with a classic favorite cookie, and with its topping and filling, looks like a professional pie that everyone will be drooling over.

Oreo crust pie filled with pie mixture stuffed with crumbled Oreo's and topped with cool whip.

No-bake desserts are so incredibly easy to make, and they make perfect desserts when you are in a hurry or need keep the kitchen cool during the hot summer months. Just grab a glass of cold milk and serve!

If you are short on time, you can use a store-bought Oreo pie crust. Although making the crust is an extra step, it only takes a few minutes too! And the rich buttery flavor of the homemade crust, makes each bite just melt in your mouth.

Slice of Oreo pie on a small white plate with a fork bite

Making this decadent dessert begins with an Oreo crust, and then is topped with a creamy filling stuffed with cookie crumbs. This delicious treat is so smooth and creamy. When it’s done, you can decorate the pie with whipped cream and whole Oreos, making it look like it’s fresh from a bakery.

Ingredients:

Oreo Pie Crust:

  • One package of Oreos– to make the cookie crust from scratch, I like to grab a family size package of Oreos so there are leftover free Oreos to have for snacking -30 Oreos crushed to fine powder, the rest will be for the filling, and use the extra Oreos for decorating the pie.
  • butter, melted– you can use unsalted or salted butter

OR

  • One ready-made Oreo Pie Crust
Ingredients needed to make Oreo pie measured on a white marble table.

For the Cream Filling:

  • cream cheese-softened to room temperature
  • powdered sugar
  • vanilla extract
  • cool whip

Garnish– use whole or crushed Oreos and whipped cream for decorating

How to make this no-bake Oreo pie crust

To make the pie crust from scratch, use a food processor and pulse to crush the Oreos into a fine crumbs powder without any chunks or pieces. If you don’t have a food processor, you can place the Oreo cookies in a large Ziploc bag, and crush with a meat tenderizer or rolling pin.

Oreos crushed and mixed with melted butter in a white pie plate.

Next, in a large bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the melted butter. Use a fork, small rubber spatula, or wooden spoon to stir ingredients together until the butter makes the cookie crumble crumb mixture soggy. It should have a slightly wet sand appearance.

Pour the mixture into an 8- or 9-inch pie pan or tart pan. Press firmly and allow the crust to chill while preparing the filling. Chilling will help the butter cool which makes the crust set.

Oreo Cream Pie Filling Directions:

  1. To make this rich Oreo filling, in a large mixing bowl, on medium speed, use an electric mixer, or a stand mixer, using the paddle attachment, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla, until smooth and creamy.

  2. Fold in the whipped cream and stir into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.

  3. Next, fold in the crushed Oreos, gently stirring throughout the filling. (You can sprinkle Oreo crumbs on top for extra decorating.)

  4. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust, in an even layer. Place in the refrigerator and let the pie chill to set for at least 2 hours. The pie can also be made ahead and chilled overnight, until ready to serve. If you are in a hurry to serve this yummy pie, place it in the freezer for 30-60 minutes for it set.

Notes

Tips:
  • For an extra special treat, top your slice of pie with a scoop of ice cream. To make it even more decadent, drizzle with melted chocolate for a rich chocolaty flavor.
  • Garnish the pie with whole or crushed cookies and whipping cream or drizzle with chocolate.
  • Using a pre-made Oreo pie crust is a little faster, because you can avoid extra prep time and chill time. I personally feel the pre-made pie crust doesn’t have the same texture as a homemade crust, but when you need a quick dessert, it does the trick.
