Not only are they crazy simple with just 6 ingredients plus toppings but they’re just a fresh and delicious taste that will have you enjoying every bite.

The hardest part of this entire recipe is trying to figure out what toppings you’re going to add to your beef tacos. But when they’re this good and simple, you don’t have to stop at one.

Perfect for a simple dinner during a crazy busy week or a fun way to add some taste and flair to your weekend gatherings, too.

INGREDIENTS YOU NEED

  • 1 1⁄2 pounds ground beef
  • (8) 4” or 6” corn tortillas 

Seasoning:

  • 2 1/2 tbsp Taco seasoning
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1⁄2 tsp chili powder 

Toppings:

  • Shredded cheese
  • Sliced red onion
  • Sliced cherry tomatoes
  • Cilantro
  • Lime juice

Instructions for Ground Beef Street Tacos

Street Tacos

  1. Cook ground beef with seasonings until meat is no longer pink. Set aside.

  2. Warm tortilla shells in the oven on 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 7 minutes or in a skillet on medium-high heat for 30-45 seconds on each side.

  3. Scoop ground beef mixture into the tortillas.

  4. Add sliced onion, cherry tomatoes, shredded cheese, and cilantro.

  5. Squeeze the fresh lime juice on top.

  6. Top with pico de gallo, fresh avocado, or fresh salsa.

What other fun toppings can I add to these ground beef tacos?

Honestly, anything that you want! Add some spicy hot jalapeños, some extra choice, or even choose to leave them “naked” and eat it without toppings, too!

Can you meal prep tacos to eat later?

There are certain steps that you can take to meal prep your tacos for later. Cook up the ground beef and have that ready and prep and chop up your toppings, too. Then, when it’s time to serve, all you’ll have to do is reheat and you’ll be ready to go.

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef lean
