I love making appetizers in the Air Fryer. They’re quick and easy and always come out perfect. Not only that, but the whole family enjoys these jalapeno poppers.

This recipe is a game changer when made in the air fryer. You don’t have to heat the oven and the best part is these take less time in the air fryer.

How do Air Fryers Work?

Air Fryers work by using a heating element and a fan with hot circulating air that cooks the food. It works faster than a typical oven and doesn’t require the oil you would need if using a deep fryer. It’s a great kitchen appliance that helps you cook faster and healthier, all at the same time.

This easy recipe for Air Fryer Jalapeño Poppers is always a huge hit at our house and the perfect game-day snack. You only need a handful of ingredients for this recipe and you’ll be munching on these jalapeño poppers in no time!

Ingredients:

  • Jalapeno pepper
  • Cream cheese
  • Cheddar cheese
  • bacon

How to make Bacon Wrapped Jalapeños in the Air Fryer

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer to 370 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare the air fryer basket if needed with nonstick cooking spray, olive oil, or parchment paper.

  2. Slice the jalapeño peppers in half, lengthwise. Use a small spoon to scoop the seeds and insides of each jalapeño half and then rinse.

  3. Stuff each of the peppers with cream cheese. Top the cream cheese with shredded cheddar cheese.

  4. Wrap each half of the stuffed jalapeño peppers with slices of bacon.

  5. Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeño peppers in a single layer in the prepared air fryer basket.

  6. Air Fry the peppers at 370 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-12 minutes or until the cream cheese filling has melted and the bacon is crispy.

NOTE: This recipe for air fryer bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers was made using the 5.8qt Cosori Air Fryer. If you’re using a different type of air fryer, you may need to adjust the cooking time up or down a minute or two to ensure your poppers cook accordingly.

This is not only a delicious recipe but a perfect low carb appetizer if you’re watching your diet.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 pieces bacon
