How do Air Fryers work?

Air Fryers work with a heating element and a fan that helps blow the hot air around the food. This hot air circulation is what helps cook the food and give it that fried taste and feel without being fried in unhealthy oils and fats. The best part is that foods typically cook faster and there is less mess and clean up when using the air fryer.

Ingredients:

  • butter salted, softened
  • brown sugar
  • granulated white sugar
  • egg
  • vanilla extract
  • all purpose flour
  • baking soda
  • semi sweet chocolate chips
Ingredients needed to make chocolate chip cookies in the air fryer.

I also use air fryer parchment paper, which is actually just regular parchment paper shaped like the air fryer basket with holes punched in it for better air circulation.

The other item I use for this recipe is a cookie scoop to make the perfect cookie shape.

Note: This air fryer cookie recipe was made using a 5.8-quart Cosori Air Fryer. If you’re using a different air fryer, you may need to adjust the cooking time and add a minute or two or even take away a little time. It’s always best to do a small batch test the first time you make these air fry cookies.
