How to Make Country Style Ribs in the Air Fryer
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare the basket with nonstick cooking spray or parchment paper after the preheat cycle is finished.
- Combine the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and ground black pepper in a small bowl and set it aside.
- Rinse the ribs and then pat them dry. Rub a small amount of seasoning mixture onto the tops and sides of the ribs. Continue to season the remaining ribs.
- Place the country pork ribs into a single layer in the prepared air fryer basket. Cook at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes. Check the ribs, and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Add the bbq sauce to the ribs and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Check that the internal temperature has reached 145 degrees Fahrenheit before serving.
- Carefully remove the ribs from the air fryer with a pair of tongs. Serve with your favorite sides.
NOTE: All air fryers cook a little differently according to the wattage and output. It’s always a good idea to do a test run before cooking the full meal to make sure your air fryer doesn’t undercook or overcook the recipe. You may need to take away a little time or even add a little time. Check the time needed by using a meat thermometer for accuracy. You may or may not need to prepare the air fryer tray if your air fryer already has a nonstick surface.
