I love making easy recipes, and breakfast is one of my favorites. My kids love it when I make these crispy hash browns, and they’re super easy to make. Make them with Air Fryer Bacon, or even Air Fryer Donut Holes. You’ll love adding these as a side dish if you make this easy Air Fryer Breakfast Casserole.

It’s easy to make Air Fryer Frozen Hash browns because there isn’t a lot of prep work that goes into this recipe. It’s quick and easy and something the whole family loves to eat.

Making these hashbrowns in the air fryer is, in my opinion, the best way to make them. You don’t have to use a deep fryer or worry about hot vegetable oil.

Air Fryers work by circulating hot air with a fan and a heating element. Air Fryers circulate hot air around the food and will give it that perfect crisp texture that will taste just like it’s been fried.

If you like these frozen hash browns, you may also like these frozen burritos in the air fryer or even an air fryer pukka pie (which would go great with these hash browns).

How to Make Frozen Hash Brown Patties in Air Fryer

Preheat the Air Fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray if needed.

Arrange the individual patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

Air Fry the frozen patties for 10 minutes at 380 degrees Fahrenheit, and then an additional 2-5 minutes for a crispier golden brown hash brown.

Remove the hash browns and serve.

NOTE: This recipe was made using a 5.8 quart Cosori air fryer. You may need to adjust the cook time depending on your brand of air fryer. If using a different air fryer, make sure you check your hash browns the first time you make them and take note of any changes you need to make to the cooking time. Add additional cook time for a more golden color and even crispier hash browns.

I love this recipe because it is a great breakfast accompaniment or even a tasty, quick snack.

Do you not need to spray a little oil on them?

    1. I didn’t, but you can if you want!

  2. I am anxious to learn more and get started. I have a new range with an air fryer in the oven but haven’t used it yet. Do I need a basket? Will it make a mess in the oven?
