This simple and healthy snack comes together with minimal effort. Use this as inspiration to try making candied walnuts, too! Nuts are great for healthy fats in your diet.

Ingredients

  • pecan halves
  • egg white
  • water
  • granulated white sugar
  • ground cinnamon
  • salt

How to Make Candied Pecans in the Air Fryer

How to Make Candied Pecans

Mix egg white and water in a small bowl and use a whisk for 1 minute until the mixture is frothy. 

Mix the salt, sugar, and cinnamon together in a bowl and set aside. 

Add the pecans to the egg mixture and toss until fully coated. Pour in the cinnamon and sugar mixture and toss the pecans to ensure they are fully coated. 

Spread out the coated pecans in the prepared air fryer basket.

Cook on 350 for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket often.

What can you use the cooled pecans for?

Once you cook up the raw pecan halves, you can use them for toppings on quite a few things! THey’re great on ice cream, fresh fruit, and taste great as a salad topper mixed with goat cheese.

How do you store candied pecans?

These pecans last easily for up to a week. You just need to be certain to store them in an air-tight container. You can leave them at room temperature.
