How To Reheat & Store Leftover Green Beans

Let green beans cool to room temperature before storing. Once green beans are cooled off, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 days.

To reheat, simply return them to the air fryer and cook at 360 degrees for 3 or 4 minutes to reheat.

Tips For Making Fresh Green Beans In The Air Fryer

  • Do not overfill your air fryer basket. Overfilling your air fryer basket will result in beans that aren’t cooked thoroughly.
  • If using thin french green beans, reduce cooking time to 6 minutes so as not to burn them.
  • Because there are so many types of air fryers out there, they all cook differently, so you may need to adjust cooking times depending on your own air fryer.

Fresh, Olive Oil & Garlic Air Fryer Green Beans FAQs

Can I use frozen green beans?

Yes. Frozen green beans can be used in this recipe. However, frozen green beans tend to cook mushy and do not crisp up as well as fresh green beans do.

Yes! Fresh pre-cut green beans from the produce section are an excellent option for this recipe, especially if you are running short on time. Avoid wrinkly, floppy green beans. Firm, bright green beans work best.

Can I use my oven instead of the air fryer for this recipe?

Yes! These green beans are great in the oven too. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes. Remember to toss green beans halfway through cooking time.
