EASY FUDGE RECIPE

To say this fudge recipe is simple is an understatement.

I love to make this easy fudge over more traditional fudge because honestly…I don’t run the risk of burning this one. Know what I mean? If you’ve ever made real fudge, you feel my pain. 😉

Another reason to love it is that it’s made in just a matter of minutes and spends most of the time solidifying in the refrigerator.

You can make this easy fudge recipe two different ways:

  • in a saucepan
  • in a microwave

Either way will be so quick you won’t believe it.

FUDGE INGREDIENTS

HOW TO MAKE FUDGE

If this was classic fudge you would be breaking out the candy thermometer, measuring, stirring, and making sure your ingredients didn’t burn as they boil and you stir constantly. Stressful!!

With this easy chocolate fudge recipe the biggest decisions you have to make are:

  1. Do I want to make this fudge in the microwave?
  2. Do I want to make this fudge on the stovetop?

It’s seriously that simple and with minimal prep time. In fact, the recipe is so easy I will walk you through both of them!

2 INGREDIENT MICROWAVE FUDGE

MELT: To melt the peanut butter, add it to a microwave safe bowl and melt for 30 seconds. Stir the peanut butter and then set the bowl aside.

ADD: Add the chocolate frosting to a bowl safe for the microwave and microwave for 30 second intervals until the chocolate is warm and liquid in state.

COMBINE: Combine the peanut butter and chocolate and stir well.

POUR: Pour the chocolate and peanut butter fudge mixture into a prepared 8 x 8 square baking dish.

COOL: Place the dish into the refrigerator and allow the fudge to cool for 2-3 hours.

CUT AND SERVE: Carefully remove the fudge from the dish and slice into squares. Serve.

Store remaining fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

NOTE: I use a silicone square dish. If you use glass, prepare your dish with parchment paper or cooking spray so that it doesn’t stick!
