If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know I am a fan of quick and easy recipes. I can appreciate the difficult recipes and have a few of those myself, but this is definitely one of the easiest. And I LOVE easy.

EASY FUDGE RECIPE

To say this fudge recipe is simple is an understatement.

I love to make this easy fudge over more traditional fudge because honestly…I don’t run the risk of burning this one. Know what I mean? If you’ve ever made real fudge, you feel my pain. 😉

Another reason to love it is that it’s made in just a matter of minutes and spends most of the time solidifying in the refrigerator.

You can make this easy fudge recipe two different ways:

  • in a saucepan
  • in a microwave

Either way will be so quick you won’t believe it.

FUDGE INGREDIENTS

This two ingredient chocolate fudge is so easy it is literally made with just 2 Ingredients!

HOW TO MAKE FUDGE

If this was classic fudge you would be breaking out the candy thermometer, measuring, stirring, and making sure your ingredients didn’t burn as they boil and you stir constantly. Stressful!!

With this easy chocolate fudge recipe the biggest decisions you have to make are:

  1. Do I want to make this fudge in the microwave?
  2. Do I want to make this fudge on the stovetop?

It’s seriously that simple and with minimal prep time. In fact, the recipe is so easy I will walk you through both of them!

2 INGREDIENT MICROWAVE FUDGE

MELT: To melt the peanut butter, add it to a microwave safe bowl and melt for 30 seconds. Stir the peanut butter and then set the bowl aside.

ADD: Add the chocolate frosting to a bowl safe for the microwave and microwave for 30 second intervals until the chocolate is warm and liquid in state.

COMBINE: Combine the peanut butter and chocolate and stir well.

POUR: Pour the chocolate and peanut butter fudge mixture into a prepared 8 x 8 square baking dish.

COOL: Place the dish into the refrigerator and allow the fudge to cool for 2-3 hours.

CUT AND SERVE: Carefully remove the fudge from the dish and slice into squares. Serve.

Store remaining fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

NOTE: I use a silicone square dish. If you use glass, prepare your dish with parchment paper or cooking spray so that it doesn’t stick!

HOW TO MAKE EASY FUDGE

If you want to make this two ingredient fudge recipe in a saucepan on the stove, it’s just as quick and easy.

ADD: Add the peanut butter and the chocolate frosting to a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat.

STIR: Stir the peanut butter and chocolate frosting until creamy and liquid in state. Stir frequently.

POUR: Pour the mixed peanut butter and chocolate frosting into a prepared 8 x 8 baking dish.

COOL: Place the dish in the refrigerator and allow the fudge to cool for 2-3 hours.

CUT AND SERVE: Remove the fudge from the dish and cut into small squares. Serve.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 24 oz milk chocolate frosting (1 1/2 cans of frosting)

Instructions
 

  • Add 1 cup of peanut butter and 1 1/2 cup of milk chocolate frosting to a saucepan and heat over medium heat.
  • Constantly stir the peanut butter and frosting until its creamy.
  • Pour the ingredients from the saucepan into a prepared 8 x 8 dish.
  • Place the 8 x 8 dish into the refrigerator and cool for at least 2 hours.
  • Remove the fudge from the pan, cut into squares, and serve. Store remaining fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  1. You can also make this fudge in the microwave. Add the peanut butter to a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds. Stir and set aside. Heat the chocolate frosting in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until it is liquid in state. Combine the peanut butter and chocolate frosting and mix well. Pour into a prepared 8 x 8 dish and refrigerate as instructed above. 
  2. Store any remaining fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
