I love making homemade hamburgers and the Air Fryer makes it so easy.
There are just a few tips and tricks for you to make the best juicy Air Fryer hamburgers, and I am going to share them all with you.
You can make these hamburger patties fresh, or you can use a frozen hamburger patty. I am going to share with you all of the ways to make the perfect, delicious burger in your Air Fryer.
Making hamburgers has always been something we like to do with the family. It’s also one of my quick go-to easy recipes that I know everyone is going to love and enjoy. In fact, I have been known to skip the grill and oven bake hamburgers just to escape from the blistering Louisiana heat.
Now I can share with you the best way to beat the heat by skipping both the oven and the grill and making the perfect Air Fryer burger. All you need is your hamburgers, air fryer, and your favorite toppings to make this the best burgers you’ve made.
What You Need:
- seasonings
- hamburger patties (fresh or frozen)
- buns
- toppings
How to Make an Air Fryer Hamburger:
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 370 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare the Air Fryer basket.
- Season the hamburger meat as desired and create the patties to be about 1inch thick.
- In a single layer, add the seasoned beef burgers to the bottom of the preheated air fryer basket.
- Cook on 370 degrees for 6 minutes. Flip the burgers and cook for an additional 6 minutes. If desired, add a slice of cheese to the burgers and cook an additional minute until the cheese is melted.
- Use a meat thermometer and check the beef has reached an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Remove the hamburgers from the basket and serve with your favorite toppings.
If you are making burgers from frozen, you will want to make them a little differently. Here is what I have found to be the perfect way to cook frozen burgers in the Air Fryer that will yield the best results.
How to Make an Air Fryer Frozen Burger:
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare the Air Fryer basket.
- Add the frozen patties to the bottom of the basket in a single layer and season as desired.
- Cook the frozen burgers for 18-20 minutes, flipping the hamburger patties halfway through.
- When you have reached the 18-minute mark, add a slice of cheese if desired and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
- Use a meat thermometer and check the internal temperature has reached 160 degrees Fahrenheit before removing and serving.
- Serve with your favorite buns and toppings.

How do I make Air Fryer Turkey Burgers?
You can make turkey burgers in the Air Fryer from both fresh and frozen, and they are just as easy as beef burgers.
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare the Air Fryer basket.
- Add the turkey burgers patties in a single layer to the Air Fryer basket.
- Cook the turkey patties for 15 minutes, flipping the burgers halfway through the cook time.
- Add a slice of cheese for the last minute of cooking if desired.
- Serve with your favorite buns and toppings.
If making frozen turkey burgers, preheat the Air Fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
