Caramel Apple Nachos with chocolate chips, pecans, and coconut.
These delicious caramel apple nachos are made with sliced granny smith apples, coconut, chocolate chips, and drizzled with caramel sauce.

Apple nachos are the best and quite possibly, the simplest dessert treat ever. There’s nothing quite like a plate full of caramel apple slices topped with yummy ingredients to take away the stresses and worry of the day.

And if you love sweet treats, be certain to check out our Apple Dump Cake as well. Another simple flavor loaded down with tasty apples!

Granny Smith apple slices topped with caramel chocolate, coconut, and more.

Any time I hear the word “nacho”, I’m immediately hungry and ready to chow down. What I love about these apple nachos is that I can treat myself to a plate anytime I want. Sweet nachos have literally become one of my new favorite foods.

I also love changing up the type of apple that I use from time to time because it makes it taste like a whole new dessert. Tart apples like Granny Smith are the best but sweet apples like Gala are great, too!

The kids love this simple dish as well because it’s one that they can easily whip up in just a few moments of time!

APPLE NACHOS

With just five simple ingredients, these caramel apple nachos take no time to make at all. You can create this simple dish for a fun after-school snack or a simple weekend treat.

And if you have an overabundance of apples, this recipe is great for getting them gobbled up! Give your oven a break and make this simple dessert recipe instead.

This recipe is also great because you can easily make nachos for one, too! Sometimes, having a bit ol’ plate of dessert nachos that you don’t HAVE to share is one of the best treats, ever!

INGREDIENTS YOU NEED TO MAKE DESSERT NACHOS

HOW TO MAKE CARAMEL APPLE SLICES WITH CHOCOLATE CHIPS, COCONUT, AND PECANS

Still skeptical of how simple these caramel apple slices are? Let the pictures speak for themselves!

Easy Caramel Apple Nachos

Cut, core, and slice the apple into small slices and arrange them on a plate.

Top with chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and top with caramel sauce before serving.

I told you this was such a simple recipe! Literally takes no time at all!

CARAMEL APPLE FAQS

Do you have to melt the chocolate for these apple nachos?

You don’t. There’s literally nothing that you have to warm up or melt if you don’t want to. However, if you’re wanting to drizzle chocolate, you can pop the chocolate chips in the microwave for a short amount of time and heat them up that way.

Otherwise, just add the chocolate chips directly onto the apple slices and enjoy.

What are the best apples to use for caramel apple nachos?

Totally up to you and your preferences. Granny Smith apples are nice and tart and make for a great contrast with the sweet toppings but you can use sweet apples if you want as well.

Don’t be afraid to try out different apples or possibly even other toppings as well to make this simple nacho recipe taste unique and different each and every time.
