How To Cook Eggs in Air Fryer

Learning how to cook eggs in air fryer isn’t hard to do at all! You’ll be amazed at how fast it can be to cook large eggs in the air fryer pan! This is one of my top egg recipe options for a healthy breakfast for the family.

I’m always looking for quick breakfasts. There are days when I make cooked eggs on the stove but just need something a bit different. This is where making hard boil eggs in the air fryer oven products the perfect cooked eggs time and time again.

I love eating air fryer boiled eggs topped with a bit of salt or even cooking up a side of air fryer bacon to go along with it. Eggs are a great source of protein and are an awesome food to add to your diet on a regular basis.

How to Cook Eggs in the Air Fryer

I love how the air fryer cooks eggs and I think you’re going to as well. It cooks them in the perfect time needed to be able to peel away those shells. This works for fresh eggs and older eggs, too.

Plus the amount of time it takes to get perfect air fryer eggs is just a few moments of time!

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
6 eggs in the basket of the air fryer.

This simple recipe cooks the eggs perfectly every single time. It’s so much faster than having to deal with heating up the water on the stove before adding to an ice water bath. The hot air makes the perfect egg quickly.

How to Make Air Fryer Boiled Eggs

Place cold eggs in the basket of the air fryer. There is no need to preheat the air fryer.

Stir Fry the egg at 270 degrees Fahrenheit for 17 minutes.

Carefully remove the boiled eggs from the air fryer basket and place them into a bowl of cold ice water.

After 10 minutes, remove the eggs from the ice bath and peel them before serving.

NOTE: This recipe was made with a Cosori Air Fryer. All air fryers can cook differently, and you may need to adjust your cook time.

What can you use air fryer hard boiled eggs for?

I love using cooked eggs to make egg salad and potato salad. If I make a large batch, I always save a few to use in other ways.

What do you pair with cooked eggs?

You can make bacon, sausage, or even a nice slice of ham. I also love to cook up toast and have that as a delicious side dish, too.

What happens if the eggs aren’t cooked all the way?

You may need to give them an extra minute in the air fryer to get them cooked the right way. You’ll have to judge this with your own air fryer to be sure as it’s important to know the temperature settings.

  1. What if your air fryer doesn’t go below 300

    1. If your air fryer doesn’t go below 300 I would suggest trying a couple of eggs versus a large batch. You would also probably need to adjust the cooking time to a shorter amount of time as well.

    Hi Jen, what size eggs do you use? I only buy jumbo eggs, many have double yolks, how much time should I give them? I have a Cuisinart air fryer oven. Thank you for your help. Diane

    1. I use large eggs! You may have to add a minute of cook time, but make sure you also do the ice bath. That’s the key!
