Don’t worry about writing any of this down, you can skip down below to the end of the post and print out the full recipe card with clear, easy instructions on how to make biscuits in the Air Fryer.

Let’s get started with what happens to be my favorite way to make biscuits.

HOW TO COOK AIR FRYER FROZEN BISCUITS

When I am making biscuits in the Air Fryer I typically grab my frozen biscuits.

Why?

Because there are times when I might be the only one eating, and grabbing one or two biscuits is easy when they are frozen. I don’t have to open an entire can of biscuits and waste anything.

Not only that, but after making frozen biscuits several times, I know just how quick and easy it is to make this little recipe.

I’ve also concluded you should always pre heat. Pre heating is important for perfection.

There are several different brands of frozen biscuits you can use. I have a few favorites, including frozen Grands biscuits, and each of them should cook relatively the same.

If you’re unsure of how your frozen or refrigerated biscuits will cook, make sure to do a quick test run with a couple of biscuits. Every brand of Air Fryer is different and doing a quick test run will ensure you’re Air Fryer cooking at just the right time and temperature.

Speaking of different brand Air Fryer, how you cook the biscuits may depend on what Air Fryer you are using. There are several different kinds, and when I am making my biscuits I like to make them in my Cosori basket style Air Fryer.

If you have a Cosori, rest assured this recipe is fail-proof and you don’t need to make a test run.

For the purposes of this post, we will concentrate on making them in the basket style Air Fryer because they come out perfectly crispy, golden brown, and flaky.

For best results, make sure you are placing the frozen biscuits on the Air Fryer basket that has been prepared so they don’t stick.

Make sure to have the biscuits placed in a single layer, and leave room around the biscuits if possible for more even cooking.

If you are using an Air Fryer with racks, you may have to adjust the heating, the time, and possibly rotate the racks for more even cooking with the food.

Time needed: 14 minutes.

Frozen Biscuits in Air Fryer

  1. Pre heat.

Pre heat the Air Fryer to 320 degrees Fahrenheit for 4 minutes.

  2. Add.

Add a piece of pre cut parchment paper and then add the frozen biscuits onto the parchment paper in a single layer. You can also use Olive oil.Biscuits placed on parchment paper in a single layer in an air fryer.

  3. Cook.

Cook the biscuits frozen at 320 degrees Fahrenheit for a cook time of 10-11 minutes. No flipping is required.

  4. Serve.

Serve the fresh hot biscuits with your favorite jelly, jam, or other additions.

CAN I COOK CANNED BISCUITS IN AN AIR FRYER?

If you don’t have frozen biscuits and are using canned biscuits such as Pillsbury Grands, you can most definitely still make them in an Air Fryer.

If you are cooking canned biscuits, make sure you decrease the time by a couple of minutes and check when you get close to the end to make sure they don’t need any added time.

I will still bake my canned biscuits in the Air Fryer at the exact same temperature as the frozen biscuits.

Cooking canned biscuits in an Air Fryer is also best when done in a single layer in the Air Fryer basket.

You’ll find the complete recipe for refrigerated canned biscuits in the printable recipe card below.

WHAT AIR FRYER SHOULD I USE?

JOIN OUR NEW AIR FRYER FACEBOOK GROUP!

We love our Air Fryers and actually have two of them! If you’re in the market for an Air Fryer I love to use both the Ninja Foodie Pro and the Cosori 5.8Q.

The Ninja Foodi is a grill and has several different options. It’s also called an air crisper, and you can learn more about that here. I like this for larger projects. You can open the top and check on what’s cooking, and you can also use the temperature probe and never undercook or overcook anything again.

The Cosori has a basket, is an actual air fryer, and makes it easy to shake things around while cooking. The handle on the basket makes removing the basket easier, and it’s very easy to clean. Each works very well and I use them both with this big family of mine. I can have them both working and have dinner done FAST.

They both really do work great and I love to use them on an almost daily basis. One last thing I would recommend with whichever air fryer you choose, make sure to get some basket liners. They are amazing and help make cleanup a breeze!
