WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED FOR BUFFALO CHICKEN PASTA?
You don’t need too many ingredients on hand for this delicious recipe. Here is what you will need to have on hand:
- Shredded chicken (Rotisserie works great!)
- Shredded cheese (cheddar and mozzarella mix)
- Block of cream cheese
- Wing sauce or hot sauce
- Ranch dressing
- Cooked pasta (penne pasta and farfalle pasta are my favorites here)
- Green onions
This is definitely a spicy dish, so make sure you tone it down with the hot sauce if you don’t like things too spicy. I make this dish with the same ingredients I use to make my slow cooker buffalo chicken dip.
HOW DO I MAKE BUFFALO CHICKEN PASTA?
This is a super quick and easy dinner, and you can make it a couple of different ways. I love to make this recipe with Rotisserie chicken, but you can also use shredded chicken breasts. I like to batch cook chicken on the weekends so I can quickly use it during the week. You can also click here to find some of my favorite easy shredded chicken recipes.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Add cooked chicken, pasta, ranch, wing sauce, and cream cheese to a large bowl. Stir well.
- Add chicken mixture to a casserole baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
- Top with cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese blend and green onion tops.
- Bake an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
Serve this chicken pasta with a salad to even out all of those rich carbs.
