I love nachos. All types, kinds, and toppings. So when I found out that I could get that nacho taste loaded with black beans and other goodness, I was beyond ecstatic to get started.
The beans give it such a hearty feel without feeling as though you’re weighing yourself down with meat. I like to make this recipe during the summer months and load it up with fresh tomatoes and onions from the garden as well.

INSTANT POT BLACK BEAN NACHOS
The truth about this simple nacho recipe is that you’re literally just making the beans the star of the show. Cutting out the meat is simple and replacing with flavorful black beans works great.
My advice? Make certain that your black beans are drained well or you’ll end up with soggy chips. But besides that, this nacho recipe is crazy good and delicious!

WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED TO MAKE BLACK BEAN NACHOS?
The great part about these nachos is that you don’t need a ton of “stuff”. A lot of this recipe is composed of toppings so you can always add more or take some out.
- Black beans from instant pot
- Chopped jalapeño
- Tomato
- Onion
- Cloves of garlic
- Cilantro
- Cumin
- Salt
- Pepper
- Cheddar cheese
- Chips
HOW TO MAKE INSTANT POT BLACK BEAN NACHOS
Nachos have never been so simple. Just gather up the ingredients to get started!
Instant Pot Black Bean Nachos
Instant Pot Black Beans Nacho Recipe
Chop veggies and place all ingredients into bowl with black beans. Stir well squeezing the lime over the salsa.
Place in fridge and allow to sit for a 1/2 hour.
Arrange chips on baking sheet placing 3/4 of the cheese over chips.
Place under broiler until chips are golden and cheese is bubbly.
Place salsa over chips and garnish with remaking cheese.
Squeeze lime over nachos prior to serving.
BLACK BEAN NACHO MODIFICATIONS
The great part about making modifications for these nachos is that it’s totally up to you. Just add in some more toppings, change out the type of cheese, or add in a spicy level that wasn’t there before.
Whatever you want to modify is totally up to you!
