One of my favorite things to use is my slow cooker. It just makes life so easy during the school year when everything is coming at you! Today I am sharing my Slow Cooker Beef Stew Recipe.
Having a slow cooker really takes the “heat” off of you at dinner time. I sometimes can get so busy and wrapped up in things that before I know it, it’s dinner time and there is nothing to eat. Bad mom, I know.
With the slow cooker I can literally spend 10 minutes gathering and adding ingredients and then dinner is done. It’s like having an extra cook in the kitchen, which I LOVE!
Slow Cooker Beef Stew Recipe
Let’s gather our fun ingredients for this yummy tummy masterpiece:
- stew meat
- 1 26oz can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 14.5oz can of Beef Broth
- 1/2 cup Dales Seasoning
- 1 small onion chopped
- 10 new (red)potatoes
- 2 large carrots, chopped
- 2 pieces of celery, chopped
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 2 cups water
To get started, heat your slow cooker to low. Pour in the cream of mushroom soup, dales seasoning, water, and beef broth and stir until mixed well. Add in your stew meat, potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, and green onions. Stir well until covered and cook on low for 8 hours. You can add salt and pepper as desired, but the flavors and the Dales marry together so well that you probably won’t need them.
Serve this filling dish with dinner roles and a side of seasoned green beans. I hope you enjoy this Slow Cooker Beef Stew Recipe. It’s warm and filling ,and will be a favorite recipe for years to come!
