- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ⅓ cup honey
- 2 Tablespoons salted butter
- 2 Tablespoons sriracha sauce
- Chopped green onions, optional garnish

How to Make Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings in the Air Fryer
Pat the chicken wing pieces dry with a paper towel and place in a medium sized bowl to the side.
Whisk together the cornstarch, garlic salt, ginger powder and paprika in a small bowl.
Dip each chicken piece in the powder mixture to coat.
Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray if needed.
Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit and then place the wings in a single layer in the hot air fryer and spray lightly with cooking spray. You may need to cook the wings in multiple batches, don’t overcrowd the fryer.
Cook the wings for 7-9 minutes or until golden on one side and then flip them and spray again, lightly, with cooking spray.
Cook for another 7-9 minutes or until the wings reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit internally and then remove from the air fryer to a clean plate.
While the chicken is cooking, place the honey, salted butter and sriracha sauce in a small saucepan, and heat over medium heat to melt butter until it begins to bubble.
Toss wings in the honey sauce until well coated, allow the excess to drip off, and then place wings on a clean plate.
Once each wing has been coated, serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions, optional and with the additional sauce on the side for dipping.
Squeeze fresh lime juice on them before serving for a little flavor explosion.
These wings are the best! Eat them as is, or dip them in the sauce. They’re great either way.

What will I need to complete this recipe?
You will need the following ingredients for best results:

- Cornstarch: You can substitute all-purpose flour instead, though the wings may not get quite as crispy on the outside.
- Garlic salt: You can substitute ½ teaspoon garlic powder and 1 ½ teaspoon salt instead.
- Ginger powder
- Paprika
- Honey
- Salted butter: Use unsalted butter and a pinch or two of salt for flavor as a substitution.
- Sriracha
You can also change the flavors up by adding additional seasonings such as brown sugar or onion powder for a little extra flavor. Add cayenne pepper for a little extra spice!
You will need the following supplies:
- Air Fryer
- Measuring tools
- Mixing tools
- Mixing bowls
- Clean plates
- Saucepan

How should I store my Honey Sriracha Wings?
You can store the Honey Sriracha Wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. If you want to keep them longer, you can freeze them in an airtight container for up to 2-3 months. When reheating, you can use an air fryer, oven, or microwave. However, keep in mind that the texture may not be as crispy as when they were first cooked.

What alternative cooking methods are there for these wings?
There are several alternative cooking methods you can use to make Honey Sriracha Wings:
- Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Place the chicken wings in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 30-40 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through cooking. Once the wings are cooked through and crispy, remove them from the oven and toss them in the honey sriracha sauce.
- Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the chicken wings on the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and crispy. Once the wings are cooked, toss them in the honey sriracha sauce.
- Deep Fryer: Preheat your deep fryer to 375°F. Add the chicken wings to the fryer and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the fryer and toss them in the honey sriracha sauce.

Note: The cooking times and temperatures may vary depending on your specific cooking equipment, so it’s best to use a meat thermometer to ensure that the chicken wings are cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F.
